Razak Kunnath
Razak Kunnath is a well-known Cinematographer who has also tried his luck as Director, lyricist and music director.
He entered the film industry as an assistant Cinematographer for the film “Oru Kochu Karyam” and later came into his own as an independent Cinematographer with the feature film “Sumangali”. During the last 37 years he has been busy with feature films, telefilms, short films, serials, television shows and star shows in India and abroad. His work span starts from the black and white era to the latest digital cinema. Razak Kunnath keeps himself updated and can handle the most advanced cameras and equipment with ease.
Razak Kunnath has penned over 100 lyrics and rendered the musical scores for them, himself. Asianet, Surya, Kairali, Jeevan and some other local channels have telecast his work. He had worked as the cameraman of Dubai Media City.
His works before Corona 19 pandemic were the television serials “Achaneyanenikku Ishtam”, “Ezhu Kadalappuram” and feature films “Moonnam Pralayam”, “Kaliyalla Changayi” and “Cinema”.

Presently he is engaged in the production of a Malayalam horror film titled “Bomma.” The pre-production work is going on. For this film also he will be doing the camera. A few new film projects are in the pipeline and he expects them to start rolling once the Covid 19 condition improves.
