Script Registration with Malayalam Film and Television Chamber of Commerce

The Malayalam Film and Television Chamber of Commerce (MFTC) is the first organization in South India and the second in India introducing the state-of-art Digital Script Registration System. To commemorate our third anniversary we introduce the digital Script Registration System from 22nd June, 2023.

The Malayalam Film and Television Chamber of Commerce (MFTC) is the only umbrella organization of the Malayalam entertainment industry.

The script has a wide meaning and MFTC registers the following type scripts:

Story one liner (Synopsis)
Full Script
Lyrics (Four songs at a time in a registration)
Poem (Four poems at a time in a registration)
Story (Four stories at a time in a registration)
Play (Only one drama or One act play)
Novel

There is no need to renew the registration and it is valid lifelong. However, while registering the script the membership must be active. Only Life Member, Associate Member, Student Member and Annual Member can make the Script Registration.

Regular Registration Tariff and Anniversary Special Discounts

1. Story one liner (Synopsis) – Rs. 2,000 (75% discount and after discount pay only Rs. 500)
2. Full Script – Rs. 3,000(75% discount and after discount pay only Rs. 750)
3. Lyrics (4 at a time) – Rs. 1,000(75% discount and after discount pay only Rs. 250)
4. Poem (4 at a time) – Rs. 1,000(75% discount and after discount pay only Rs. 250)
5. Story (4 at a time) – Rs. 1,500(75% discount and after discount pay only Rs. 375)
6. Play (Only one drama or Single One act play) – Rs. 1,000 (75% discount and after discount pay only Rs. 250)
7. Novel – Rs. 3,000 (75% discount and after discount pay only Rs. 750)

This Anniversary Special Discount Rate is applicable from 22nd June, 2023 to 20th August, 2023.

How to register a script?

1. Any Life Member, Associate Member, Student Member or Annual Member can do the registration. So first become a MFTC member.

2. Please click the registration link provided below which will take you to a User Sign in window.

3. Click the Register button in the User Sign in window, fill up the information asked for and pay the appropriate fees to the bank account mentioned.

4. Mention the bank name through which you made the payment and provide payment reference.

5. Please remember to mention the MFTC Ref. No. which is given in the Identity Card. New members soon after becoming a member can request for the MFTC Ref. No. urgently by sending email to: admin@malayalamfilmtvchamber.com or Whatsapp to +91 9757281837 or call to +91 9833566504 between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm on any working day.

6. If you have made the registration successfully you will get an email in this connection to your registered email id.

7. Later your credentials and payment will be verified by our Registration Team. This process will complete within one to two hours’ time during office hours on any working day. However, if the internet speed at your end is low or due to power failure or any other technical problems or reasons the verification and approval time might vary.

8. The moment your registration particulars and payment are approved, you will get a User Id (as membership number) and Password in your registered email id. You may Log in using the User Id and Password and submit your script for registration.

9. You will receive a script registration confirmation mail with registered script as attachment in your registered email. You may view and download your registered script after two hours of registration from User Dashboard and keep it in safe custody. It will be available in your viewing window for 10 days and thereafter it is programmed to disappear automatically from there and the server. Only you can view and download your registered script. Nobody from our staff, Governing Committee Members, Board of Directors or IT people can see or access your script. The web application is created in such a way that all registration procedures were carried out with utmost secrecy.

10. For uploading another work, no need to register again. Simply Login with your existing User Id and Password (you can change your password as and when required). On the left side of the Dashboard please click Payment Details which will take you to Payment Details window. On top right you can see a button +Add Payment and click it. Make the payment, fill up the information and submit. The payment will be verified and a confirmation email will be sent to your registered email ID. After that you may click Upload Script button which will take you to the Script Upload window. Now you can see that you have access to upload your next script. Upload the second script successfully. If you want to upload more scripts, please continue the same procedure.

The Malayalam Film and Television Chamber of Commerce will accept only online Script Registration Application as online mode has obvious advantages and provide highest security.

1. The registration is hassle-free, simple and no hard copy application is to be sent by post or courier. Thus the applicant can save time, energy and money.

2. The registration helps to prove the ownership and origin of one or more people’s creative work and restrict plagiarism.

3. In each page on the top the script name will appear and in the bottom Page Number and Registered@https://accounts.malayalamfilmtvchamber.com on …… (Date and time will be marked.)

4. You will get the Script Registration Certificate with date and time with a computer generated unique reference number.

The Registration Fee once paid will not be refunded, transferred or adjusted.
