Sreela Nalledam

Sreela Nalledam is a trained musician turned classical dancer. She had successfully completed the four years’ Ganabhooshanam course from the Chembai Memorial Government Music College, Palakkad. Later she switched into the dance field. She learnt classical dance under Guru Kalamandalam Sreedevi Gopinath. Sreela started her own dance institution named Sivaranjini Dance School in Pattambi, where she researches in fine arts and teaches classical dance to her students.

Sreela Nalledam is an enthusiastic cook who specializes in the ancient, traditional vegetarian recipes used in Namboothiri Illams and Manas. She has started a YouTube channel named, “Nalledathe Adukkala” to popularize these traditional recipes.

An ardent lover of literature, fine arts and theatre, Sreela Nalledam started as a model in an ad film. Later she acted in several short films, musical albums and feature films. Her first feature film was the state award winning Rahman Brothers’ “Vasanthi”.

She also acted in national award winner Priyanandanan’s “Silencer”, “Oru Desa Visesham”, and “Aanum Pennum”. Her most recent performances were in a Sanskrit feature film “Thaya” directed by G. Prabha, in which veteran actor Nedumudi Venu acted as her husband, and in another Malayalam feature film “Ormapeythu” directed by Biju M. Raj.
