Title Registration - TV
We, at the Malayalam Film and Television Chamber of Commerce, are glad to announce that your organization is now providing the services of title registration for films and, for the first time in the history of Malayalam Television industry, registration for television serials, script registration and banner registration.
Now story title, story, story one line and script registration is hassle free and can be done online from anywhere in the world sitting at the comfort of your home, office or work place.
For Life Members it’s absolutely FREE!
For non-members a nominal fee of Rs. 500/- to be paid for registering a story title, story or story one line of a film or television serial and Rs. 1,000 for the script of a film or television serial.
The registration is valid for one year from the approval date of registration and can be renewed for another year at the prevailing fees of that time.
The Benefactor Registration is for Producers and Others and only after this registration can they apply for Banner Registration. A Producer can register for the title of his film or television serial provided he has obtained an approval from the writer that his/her story shall be used for the Title of the film or television serial to be registered. Both Banner and Title Registration is absolutely FREE!
The title certificate issued by the Malayalam Film and Television Chamber of Commerce as required by its Producer Members for the purpose of certification of films by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and/or for the records of its members. Other certificates issued by the MFTC for script, story, or story one line for its members or non-members helps to prove the ownership and origin of their creative work and restrict plagiarism.
Kindly note that this facility offered by the MFTC to its members and non-members is only a registration of title, script, story or story one line with the Malayalam Film and Television Chamber of Commerce as per the prevailing industry practice and is not a trade mark and/or copyright in the respective category of document.
